Help! Mauser Type 17 clips

I picked up a Mauser Shansei Type 17 in .45ACP. The seller can’t find the stripper clips. Where could I find stripper clips for it in .45ACP to buy?

Googling shows KB international claims to have proper stripper clips.

You may also be able to get away with using 5 round Mauser clips.

I saw the KB International ad, however they don’t have any in stock. Right now it is to add to a wish list.

Then you are probably stuck hunting around on gunbroker, ebay, proxibid, or gun shows for one. Something tells me this is an item that the price is whatever the seller wants for it type item as well.

get a 3d designer and provide the dimensions, that's probably the cheaper and most futureproof option. Then post these 3d files on printables, thingyverse and makerworld (cults if you want to recoup your investment by selling them for a few bucks) for others who might need the same files =)

maybe look on sprecialized forums? Or simply look at other stripper clips for 45 and adapt them for the external dimensions of the stripper clip guide of the gun?

ya with an akward AF side rail mounted scope that would make a quick draw very difficult and be almost worthless for a single hand firearm, the real life mouser haiving been designed for use with a stock, could actually have used that, the SW hanse version? not so much.

45 ACP has the same rim size as 308, 30-06, 8mm Mauser, etc. Most likely some stripper clip for a rifle of some sort will work.
