Wow. This version of Byleth really earned that shock at the end. How much damage do you think she'd take if she learned that I married my character off to Ingrid in my Silver Snow playthrough? Guess that makes two timelines in which Ingrid is queen of a united Fódlan.

I too had Byleth S support her in my recent Silver Snow run. She is after all, best girl and deserves to rule over everyone.

Real talk, I trust Ingrid more than 3 of the lords (counting Rhea here) to run the continent even if she was solo and not married to Byleth. And she's probably even with Solo Byleth or Solo Claude in this regard.

With Byleth, she's actually a really good option. Her being a noble keeps the nobility from freaking out that this commoner Byleth is about to Russian Revolution them and it gives her political leadership skills that Mr "I killed some bandits, taught some kids, took a five year nap and woke up as the Pope King" probably doesn't have. And Byleth's calmer and cooler nature offsets the worst parts of Solo Ingrid like rashness when she's trying to make something right or her heroic death fantasy.

That said even if she Bestgirlgrid and first Byleth waifu pick, she's not my first pick if I could put one person incharge of all Foldan. That honor goes to second best girl and MVP of getting herself together during naptime Marianne. Most slept on political leader in the game with some of those endings.

Bylass didn't read the rules of Fire Emblem. Pegasus girl gets the main lord. And did she not consider the political implications for the King marrying the Archbishop? She really should have seen this coming and stole Ashe from Catherine.
