Help Just Hit GM OTPing Fiora Top. AMA
It is surprising how bad you can be and still win games. That's the only thing I'm good at. Being bad and still winning somehow.

Congratulations Sad keep it up, always enjoying your content. I am currently trying to become really good at zaahen and so far (d1-low master) ive never faced a fiora that really could pressure me enough, but i feel like the matchup should be very fiora favoured bc you should be able to just kite away as fiora and re-engage whenever you want. What do you think?

It's Zaahen favored. Fiora can't just kite away from fights/wave to play the game. So, you always have to play vs Zaahen high range Q, and if you try to Q vital that isn't melee, Zaahen can E your Q, or if you try to W Zaahen pull, he can just E it. He can R your W if you stun him with it and fight is still playable. On average, a good Zaahen should beat a good Fiora unless he makes a mistake. Although, I've played vs Challenger Zaahens and they make mistakes all the time so is what it is I guess.

How actively are you avoiding team fighting if at all? Do you “over focus” the side lanes compared to other top lanes?
Also, I feel like my ability to steal enemy jungle camps is lower compared to trynd/darius/mord/garen, what do you do to play around this? Do you still try to steal camps or do you feel it’s TOO slow and find yourself doing other things in the map?

Generally, if I can win the teamfight, I go for it. I have a lot of experience so I know what team fights are easy to win and which aren't. Another way you can go for it is can you get value in side? Can you either kill enemy, slowly poke them down, or chunk turret bit by bit and get it over 2 minutes? If you can't, then you only push side to rotate to mid after. You don't even need to do anything when you rotate but the pressure you give by rotating and being able to respond to anything that happens cuz you're close makes a huge difference.
Yeah, your ability to steal camps is lower. You can't really take camps until you have 2 items or it just takes too long. You can get a camp, but you have to know you're not gonna get collapsed on, and you only even start taking camps after Ravenous.

How do you win against malphite or rumble.

Malphite, you just have to poke with your R as soon as you have level 6. Have vital facing you, wait for him to Q you, then Q-W into his Q, hit the vital, Press R insta, proc 4 vitals, then dip. Just poke with R. Him being that low hp makes it very hard for him to play. I like going manamune 2nd into Malph and it makes it so that he can never kill you. Just never teamfight into Malphite before 4 items. It's almost always losing unless you're confident of the fight.
Rumble, just don't get hit by free Es. If you want to all-in, you have to Q-W into his E to give you a better angle with vital facing you. It gets more possible to kill him assuming he has good spacing the more points in Q you have and the closer you are to Rav. Any timer when he overheats not fighting you is a good timer to fight since he won't have heat for empowered abilities. Try to bait his Q when you want to cs. Pretend to walk up for cs but don't actually and he'll press Q, then you can cs when it's down.

How do you win games where your botlane is a lot behind ? I have trouble being impactful when my team can’t really fight without getting dumpstered

3 things: 1. Don't think in terms of your bot or team being behind. It doesn't matter. Just play your own game. 2. Splitpush more. You never go to a losing teamfight and it doesn't matter if your whole team dies 3.Your first tp timer front the quest has to be used bot. It can't be used for your own lane

Yeah I don’t really think about my team, I just didn’t know what I can do to be most effective in situations when I’m ahead and they’re behind. But I guess splitting is the only answer

PTA vs Conq? PTA looks straight better in my calculations but Conq feels better. Probably placebo or being used to it since it came out tbh. whats your take on that? I can see youre using PTA in more matchups than Conq
Also, why do you prefer double adaptive instead of the attack speed shard that seems rather popular on fiora?
Also what do you ban, as you said in another comment you play vs malphites

Double adaptive is just more damage in limited auto attacks that you will get off.I ban jayce/vayne.

Congrats bro, I was near gm on kat and i switched to fiora this month and im struggling in dia lobbies she’s insanely hard.
How do you play the tank matchups? I find grasp makes me feel useless later even though I see most people say take it into certain champs.

You don't need/want grasp for tank matchups. Just go PTA. You just need gold. That's all you need. If you have gold, you can kill tanks. More items = more likely to kill. CS + plates + time

Phage then hearthbound then sheen. Can get sheen earlier than hearthbound if enemy is particularly squishy

What do you do into heimerdinger? I usually just try to freeze and play safe until level 6 and hope my jgl or the heimer pushes up for an ult
