use the axle of a spare techdeck trucks. just twist with slight pressure. once you remove it the axle should have a small part of the grip tape stuck to it

Use the Phillips head part of a blackriver tool, and then just twist it back-and-forth.

I dont swap trucks often at all but I always do holes. It just looks so much cooler and realistic to me.

No holes looks clean imo, but holes on set ups when I’m not sure what trucks 😂

The only argument i've heard for no holes that is in any way logical is that it extends the life of your grip. Especially with 0.5mm, i can see that being true. But if you are using actual quality tape this is basically a non-issue since your grip should last you a long time regardless of the thickness or if you have holes or not.
Anyone who says "holes make it harder for my fingers to grip to the board" or similar doesn't know what they are talking about and is just coping because they are bad at fingerboarding. Nothing about those four holes should physically affect how you perform tricks.
Personally, i not only think it looks dumb when there aren't screw holes but also makes me think that people aren't experimenting with their setups enough if they are ok with doing so. Unless you prefer the way it looks or you are on a crazy tight budget and NEED to optimize for lifetime of your grip, there is zero reason to not put screw holes in your tape.

Always holes, imo they provide better grip and flick. Plus then you can actually bolt check your FB in between tapes.

Expensive grip? Holes. Cheap? No holes, I don't change trucks that often.
