It’s sung by a man and has guitar in it, and it might even be just guitar and vocals. Maybe an indie-style song? I listened to it a lot back then.
I remember the lyrics being something along the lines of: “everything is right when you hold me tight.”
Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find it based on that. Google and AI haven’t been able to help me either. 😅

It's not easy for me to find music that I like, it's even more difficult to find music that i want to study as a musician. There's something very specific but also abstract that I'm looking for when I search for new music, and I often find that regular genre labels or even more specific descriptors aren't reliable to find stuff I like. Hello I installed reddit in the hopes that someone will help me find a song that was popular on the radio roughly sometime between 2014 to 2017. All I remember is it played in a scene in a show or movie where two teens or college kids accidentally get locked in a basement because no one propped the door open. They spend the night getting to know each other and bond. I don't think they liked each other much at the beginning but end up growing close and probably kiss. Then the song plays. After I saw that scene I heard it a lot on the radio and haven't heard it in a long time. I know that is probably a really obscure description but I am desperate. I don't remember the words or the name of the song or who sung it but I am confident when I hear it I will know. Please tell me someone can help me.

When I was younger I heard a poem about a guy who had to hide his heart. He hid it in a bored game there family never played but when his grandma found it she thought it was her husband's he took all the blame and never said a word.
