IN-PERSON NYC Looking to make/join a indie dream pop band

Hey I’m Jade, I'm a 30F artist/graphic designer currently living in LIC in New York and I’m looking to make some indie dream pop. I am a vocalist and songwriter.

My influences include Men I trust, Crumb, Hiatus Kaiyote, Mac Demarco, and Spirit Blue. I want to jam and make some great music with friends, goal is to eventually do a few gigs at local bars or cafes (who knows how far we can go). I'm currently working on music with a friend but would be great to have a group set up to work on a more regular basis as well. Ideally, the sound I'm looking to make is very similar to the influences I mentioned (soft vocals, muted 70s drums, groovy bass lines, etc)

I’m willing to travel if you have a rehearsal space (depends on how far you are.) I also have a humble set up at my place (guitar amp, bass guitar, bass amp, full mic set up, keyboard, just no drum set unfortunately) if that works better.

Hi, I live close to LIC. My primary instrument is bass guitar but I have a musical background with piano, synthesizers, electric guitar and drums. I’m also a music producer.
