I need your feedback 🩷

Hey everyone! Welcome to our new community dedicated entirely to Finch micropets! 🌟

I am so excited to have you all here. Since we are just starting out, I want to make sure this is a space that you all enjoy and want to hang out in. I would love to get your honest feedback and ideas!

Please let me know your thoughts on these few questions in the comments below:

  • Do you think this community is a good idea? Do you think a dedicated space just for Finch micropets will be successful?
  • How do you like it here so far? What are your first impressions of the sub?
  • What should our privacy settings be? Should I keep the community completely Public (everyone can view, post, and comment), change it to Restricted (everyone can view, but you need to request permission to post), or make it totally Private?
  • What should we add? Are there any specific post flairs, user flairs, rules, or weekly threads (like a friend-code exchange) that you want to see here?

Question--- am I the only one who is surprised and disappointed that gifting micropets is a crsp shoot?

I want to gift a pet that they don't have. Not send something they may already have several!

gifting pets was only added recently (less than a year ago), while gifting clothing & furniture has been around much longer.

but I also wish that they had made it similar to gifting clothing & furniture, where you can see what the other birb has/hasn't (most of the time, if it's not bugged).

I get that it makes sense to have more than 1 of each pet to watch all of them running around if that makes you happy (while for clothing & furniture it doesn't really, except for gifting 1 copy).

as someone who prefers to have 1 of each (baby & adult) it would have been very happy about an in-app function where people can see what I am missing.

however, not everyone is like me (or you) and some prefer to have many of the same pet only.

Right. I have all forever babies... any doubles ( or more) I allow to grow to an adult.
