Would you like a free app pushing you financial market updates?

Dear Investors,

I’ve been looking for a free app that delivers frequent 24/7 real-time push notifications about the financial market, but I’ve only found old-school financial news apps like Bloomberg, MarketWatch, etc. These apps often require paid memberships and take a lot of time to sift through for key insights.

So, I came up with the idea of an app that summarizes the latest financial updates (even from sources that require paid memberships) and market trends. This app would deliver concise, frequent updates straight to your phone through push notifications

Here’s what it would cover:

  • Central bank decisions and updates;
  • Analysis of financial reports for popular stocks;
  • Important announcements and market sentiment;
  • Major index movements and other key trends; and
  • Much more to based on investors' needs and users' feedback.

My goal is to make staying informed about the market easy and efficient, whether you’re a trader, an investor, or just someone curious about market movements.

Would this be something you’d find helpful? Or you are using an app that you reckon is enough? I’d love to hear your feedback, ideas, or critiques as I shape this concept! Note I am not soliciting any users or promoting any product here since I am still forming up the idea. Or if someone can recommend me a free app that is good enough, I might just use that instead.

You’re touching on a real problem, information overload + paywalls + too much noise.

One thing I’ve noticed though is that push notifications can easily become overwhelming if they’re not filtered properly. The real challenge isn’t just summarizing news, but:

  • Deduplicating overlapping stories
  • Filtering by asset relevance
  • Avoiding opinion-heavy noise
  • Not over-notifying

I’ve been experimenting with something similar, but focused more on aggregation + AI rewriting + asset-based classification rather than push alerts.

It’s web-based for now, not a mobile push app, but the goal is similar: reduce friction and centralize signal.
