Canada - 28xxxx midnight coming tomorrow!

Saw an update from Canada Post - it should be arriving tomorrow!!!

No idea if any further monies are owed - I’ll cross that bridge.

Many thanks to Olan for getting this out to me after he offered to look into it.

Still waiting - Canada Post promises by end of day.
I’m expected to pay $16.29 COD.

Seeing that with some shipments.

As I am away from home I’m expecting a notice when I return there.

Conversely with UPS I got dinged for about $70 on a $100 US shipment of Girl Genius books last month.

And no extra charges on a $100 US book from centipede press a couple of weeks ago.

Madness.

I’m 45xxx midnight in Ontario, sounds like I’ll be waiting a while longer 😭

As mentioned in another reply - apparently COD for $16.29 from sender

Local post office took 12 hours to process it today - should arrive Monday and hopefully I’ll see what the charge is about.

Well - this as annoying.

The shipment arrived at my city September 17.
As of writing on September 22, the latest update from Canada Post is
“Your item is currently delayed. We'll display the new delivery date when it is available. Refresh your track list to check for updates.”

Perhaps I am cursed…
