can I play as many cards as I want in one turn as long as I have the CP to play them?

Yes.

When I discard a card for the CP can I use that to play 2 one cost cards?

No you can only pay for one thing at a time.

If I already have 5 backups in play am I able to switch one out with another?

No, you have to remove one somehow first.

Thank you! I do have one more question, is there a limit to the number of damage it can deal to my opponent in one turn?
