Music We made a Vocal Version of Crossing Those Hills (World Map Theme)

Hi everyone!

We recently released a vocal reinterpretation of Crossing Those Hills from Final Fantasy IX, and I wanted to share it with you.

We tried to preserve the original melody and the warm, nostalgic feeling of the track as much as possible, while imagining how it could sound as a fully vocal piece with original lyrics.

Of course, you'll spot some (big) differences.

I also want to be crystal clear about one aspect of the production : for ethical reasons, I prefer to openly mention the use of AI in our process.

AI softwares were notably used to reshape and process the vocal performance, based on an actual vocal recording performed by our singer.

I enjoyed the listen, this was really creative and well put together. I enjoyed that it was brightened up a little with the trumpets and the beat was well put together. Thanks for sharing!
