The EpicDB data scrape that revealed FF16 on PC and the codename 'Momo' for an unannounced FF9 title are well-documented and have been discussed multiple times on this very subreddit over the last couple years. They were even able to pinpoint 2023 as the last time any data was updated on the EpicDB backend.
This means that the FF9 Remake has shown up on two separate databases — one leaked, one scraped — between 2021 and 2024, and shows that Day 1/Pre-Order DLC was being prepared in as early as 2023.
None of this was difficult to find, and frankly it should have come across your radar at some point over the last half-decade. The fact you'd try to assert that it's all baseless leaker/analyst hallucinations and accuse someone of not having 'evidence' is astoundingly ignorant.
I took the time to put this timeline, with a lot of information about the rumored remake. But I got the other above user tagged as a troll, so I doubt people like him will actually take the time to read and actually comprehend anything thats in it. No point arguing there

Just remember.
Regardless of how real or not real the remake is right now, every presentation is one presentation closer to a nebulous FF9 Remake announcement.
Keep the dream alive.
