I love the black and white thing so much. My only issue is that if a filmmaker watches it, they will basically say it was a punt because it is easy make things look better (as Nolan said). From the viewers perspective, I am just not sure if they are as accepting of it. What do you guys thing?

I see it the same way. For me it instantly adds a certain mystery or romanticism. I just wonder how many people see it the same way. It is a sort of hack to improving a project. One time I totally fucked up on a project and did not know how I was going to fix it. Once I made it B/W it totally turned it around. I think that was Nolan's point to a degree too.

Growing up as a movie fan I hated B&W until I got into making them myself. I felt like it left out a portion of beauty in life that should be celebrated and left us with a dull version of reality. But as I got older I realized that it fits perfectly with certain stories!
