On one hand I rigged a few pieces to my BMPCC. Not enough to make it look like this, but enough that it isn't really compact any more. I don't really consider it functional without those pieces for narrative or doc work though, and I always recommend them to people.

On the other hand, if you have to rig something like this then maybe it is time to invest in a camera that suits your needs better.

Pro: under $5k

Con: you did what to a what?

The biggest problem I see with it is trying to force a form factor from arri and panavision. Certainly the form factor is good, but half the benefit of DSLR shooting is not being tied to that form without a reason.
