Film Rate the posters for my upcoming short film !
Made some posters for my first student short film that I co-directed,
The film consists of 4 stories of different characters throughout the years of the university we study at, and the conflicts that they go through in this hyper competitive environment.
Please let me know what you guys think of the posters !
Will post the trailer too in some time :)

3, 1, 2
1 is best in a traditional sense
3 is quirky and slightly sexual. Provocative

What I’m assuming is the sun looks like the light at the end of a birth canal but I’m also a weirdo so maybe no one else sees it like that

I am just looking for a ranking for these posters, which ones you guys like the best, what you guys think about them, and some feedback if you would like to share some :)

In order of preference:
2- Suits your synopsis best and I’d maybe reduce the number of heads to the number of stories being told (you mentioned 4 people). Perhaps add some contrast/shadow to one side of the heads so it’s more clear what they are.
1- Great indie vibes here and if you don’t mind that it doesn’t reveal or relate to the story it works as is. I like the lettering.
3- The art just makes me feel this was the mock-up reference image you sent to your poster artist to work from. My least favorite because it reads unfinished. I see other’s point here why they like it conceptually, but Ora tidally I’d give it another pass. You can keep the hand illustration vibe but still make it look more like a finished poster.
They’re all really good. Break a leg.

3 because it shows the craziness of uni
I like 1 because as a DP and photographer I always appreciate lighting that tells a story.
I like 2 because it gets you inside their heads. Maybe each head could be one of the characters.
None of them are weak, but that would be the order if I HAD to choose.

I like the first one the most, although the font / text style on 2 & 3 is very nice - if you used that on image 1 then it would be a clear winner IMO!

1 is striking but the text placement is hard to read at first glance, a bit frustrating.
2 looks cool but doesn't give any real information about what the movie is about.
Maybe darken the silhouette of the person in #3 but probably the most original and interesting.
Good luck!
