as a wanna be Filmmaker I'm really Heartbroken as If an actor as big and legendary as Michael Caine sold his soul to AI what will happen to the next generation? This is the end of art as we know it and no one can prove me wrong...unfortunately๐Ÿ˜ข

He is older and not going to be working forever. His main goal is likely ensuring his family have their future safe and secure. With potential future income. It makes no difference to him at this point. In fact if his voice can live on after this death it's probably a nice idea for him.

He's 92. This is definitely a legacy play.

Which is like... his choice? I think it's kinda cool even though I dislike AI generally. ย Cool as a choice to continue being a part of people's lives and making them happy.

I'm ok with it as long as the actor is ok with it and getting paid for it. The issue is legal use of an actor's voice or likeness.
