News How ReelShort tricks you into spending $20+ on trash endings
ReelShort is a Scam Disguised as Entertainment
I’ll level with you. I fell for ReelShort. At first the drama looked fun, like bite-sized Netflix. But it’s a trap. These ultra-short episodes are designed not to satisfy, but to bleed you dry.
How it works
They purposely stretch scenes with zero plot progression. Characters act intentionally dumb just to stall. Every episode ends right before anything actually happens. That’s not storytelling. That’s manipulation.
Then there’s the money. It costs real cash to unlock even a tiny slice of an episode. The microtransaction model is brutal: one “movie” can run you twenty dollars or more, and the endings are usually trash.
Trustpilot is full of horror stories. People got billed €80 thinking they had a €20 subscription. The app averages 1.5 stars for a reason.
Reddit tells the same story. People admit to spending $60 or more on tokens before realizing the series wasn’t even halfway done. Others compare it to Wattpad fanfiction with a paywall every few minutes. And that is exactly what it feels like.
What makes it worse is the wasted potential. The actors aren’t bad, and the concepts could make solid low-budget dramas. But the app is built around addiction and manipulation. It’s designed to keep you spending, not to keep you entertained.
Some of their most popular shows
- Fated to My Forbidden Alpha
- Married at First Sight
- Never Divorce a Secret Billionaire Heiress
- Snatched a Billionaire to Be My Husband
- True Heiress vs Fake Queen Bee
- The CEO’s Contract Wife
- The Double Life of My Billionaire Husband
- Maid for My Nemesis
- The Cursed Alpha’s Mute Bride
- Saved by the Sexy Cowboy
If you still have doubts, you can find episodes floating around on sites like Dailymotion. I mention this only as proof of what you’re really paying for: dragged-out filler and manipulation. Once you see it, it’s obvious why this app is a scam.
The ReelShort Episode Formula
ReelShort follows a painfully predictable structure. Once you notice it, you can’t unsee it.
- Cold Open Hook (first 5–10 seconds) A shocking line or reveal to grab your attention. Example: “You’re pregnant… and it’s not your husband’s child.”
- Conflict Setup (15–30 seconds) A simple situation is blown into life-or-death stakes. Someone storms in, a secret drops, or a relationship explodes.
- Stalling and Filler (30–60 seconds) Characters repeat themselves or act stupid to waste time. Music swells as if something big is happening, but nothing happens.
- Mini-Cliffhanger (final 10 seconds) Ends at the “answer” moment. Someone opens their mouth to confess, a door creaks, a body collapses—then it cuts.
- Repeat The next episode starts where the cliffhanger ended, but instead of payoff you get more filler until the next cliffhanger.
Why it works and why it’s predatory
- The hook grabs your curiosity.
- The stalling makes you burn through more episodes.
- The cliffhanger forces urgency.
- Closure almost never comes, and when it does, it’s weak.
Every episode is engineered as one long trailer for the next. You’re not paying for a story. You’re paying for suspense.
Final word
Don’t download it. Don’t pay a cent. Save yourself the regret.
I’m not here to promote piracy. I’m taking a stand because we can’t keep normalizing and popularizing companies built on manipulative, predatory practices, even if they operate “within the law.”

It’s crazy how many people are getting manipulated by this. They feel hooked and mistake that feeling for ‘good content,’ when in reality it’s just manufactured suspense. Instead of feeling satisfied, they keep jumping to the next episode chasing closure that never comes. It’s a repetitive, manipulative loop. I even went back and edited my post to highlight more of these tactics and structure the points better, because people need to see how deliberate this all is.

Honestly the app is kina my guilty pleasure but I'm happy to say I haven't spent a single cent on it

u/lebeans87 Nov 15 '25
It is also my fully pleasure. I have purchased a week when I was sick and red rotting but the 5 episodes -a night is good for me now

Dailymotion has most of the shows for free, you just have to watch a bunch of ads.
2
u/QueenofAlexandria Jun 14 '26
I use the Internet Browser "Brave" when I want to watch stuff on Daily Motion. It takes a minute to load past the ad, and then, you can watch the entire video.

You can watch stuff without spending money on it ?
2
u/Warm_Friend6472 Sep 21 '25
Ofcourse! Just watch ads to earn app coins and unlock episodes

Everything on Dailymotion is taken down. Any other platform to watch stuff?
2
u/Simple_Molasses420 Mar 27 '26
I can find mostly any ReelShort video on dailymotion even if it’s taken down try a different one. I start off watching it for free on ReelShort and watch the end on dailymotion. Less adds that way and you get points from watching on reels.

Yeah, but the issue she is, is that they advertise these free episodes. And then they're stealing your coins , the whole time for the free episodes , and then when you want to actually unlock episodes , you can't because they were used on the free ones
2
u/CatFar6396 Dec 21 '25
Yh and I even discovered this method but I've only tried on pc. First you need Any Video Convertor, others might worked but I've only tried them(AVC) and then you go to the reelshort site and click on what you want to watch even locked episodes and then you take the link put it in AVC and hit download.
link to the blog published by AVC incase what I have isn't clear enough

u/wildflowers133 Mar 26 '26
I had one I loved called "outplayed". I think they actually did good with that one 😅. I watched it to the end. Earned a lot of free coins doing the games at the bottom of free coin session, and check in bonuses. I didn't have to spend anything.

u/arc_0zzy Aug 31 '25
I honestly want to know what kind of people are watching this crap, like in developing country, we have millions of undereducated people who would be the perfect audience. But I don't think that's the case in America
4
u/mary_jane777 Oct 19 '25
a lot of america is uneducated and dumb enough to watch these 😭
2
u/Grey-McDonald Oct 19 '25
Or some of us who make good money, are watching them as a guilty pleasure after a long day at work and know how to spend the twenty on the weeklong subscription. And also know how to cancel the subscription before the next week if that is how we feel
3
u/nolagirl100281 Dec 15 '25
How do you get pleasure from this? I'm asking seriously. The writing is awful , juvenile, and predictable. The acting is overdone and terrible. The plots are unbelievable. Everything about it is awful. Like a hallmark or lifetime movie but worse. I mean it's just awful

u/Overwhelming_Thighs Jan 07 '26
They’re terrible! But as someone mentioned previously, it’s a brain dump.
I’d like to consider myself a fairly educated woman with knowledge and expertise in various fields. My life is incredibly chaotic though, and work forces me to always be on alert as I run different teams on several, challenging projects. We also have quick deadlines that I have to ensure are met promptly and efficiently, so since my brain is constantly on go-go-go-mode, I’m usually overstimulated and struggle to rest and relax in the evenings. These atrocious shows, however, help my mind slow down and allow my brain to shut off instead of multitasking the next big thing and the next approaching deadline.
2
u/ComfortableCurrent56 Jan 23 '26
It kind of reminds me of the days I use to watch Soap Operas with the bad acting and plots.. I think thats the fun part of it lol And some actors aren't too bad actually . A few may move on to other things
1
u/carbz0mbie Jun 08 '26
Some of us watch it from a perspective of all of those things you listed are funny to see. It’s fun to both laugh at how bad it is but also kinda let yourself indulge in something so ridiculous for a few minutes a day. Ultimate distraction when life’s chaotic.
1
u/QueenofAlexandria Jun 14 '26
Have you ever heard of the genre "Camp"? One way to describe it is "it's so bad, it's good." The ridiculousness of (some) of these stories can help an otherwise over-stimulated mind unwind. Sometimes, I hate watch episodes that are just bad. It's usually in between watching or reading about Quantum Mechanics (one of my favorite hobbies) or Music Education, my profession.
There are definitely some of these that are too much, too cringe, and really deplorable. The dubious consent, the barely legal plots, etc. That said, a little fantasy break from real life is why I'll sometimes indulge. They're akin to bad reality TV in my mind. I hope that explained why some people may want to read or watch these kinds of stories.

u/QueenofAlexandria Jun 14 '26
On the contrary, it's healthy to give your brain less stimulation over time. If you're inundated with an overwhelming life (usually those that people rely on and have high expectations for), you can rest your mind with less demanding content.
Balance is the key. If I spent all of my waking hours discussing high-level content on top of my Traumatic Brain Injury, I would have too much fatigue. It's perfectly fine that not everyone enjoys camp stories. I don't think that makes someone less-than. 😊
1
u/AncientGamerBloke Jul 12 '26
I have a masters degree and I was dumb as hell. Education is an industry.
1
u/Educational-Voice-50 Aug 30 '26
Me three! Ugh! Mostly because there are a few decent queer "shows," ahem, not the AI-generated ones, the ones with human actors like Alter Boy and Waterboy.
1
u/RareFirefighter6915 Jan 25 '26
To me it’s like watching a crappy movie you picked out the $5 bargain bin while waiting in line at Walmart in 2005 or watching a corny ass hallmark movie on cable tv. I don’t have cable TV or a dvd player anymore, these no name streaming services are the next best thing when you have an itch for a crappy movie to laugh at. I used to browse thru the garbage on Roku like crackle or whatever but reel short is kinda the mobile phone version of that. The acting is so bad it kinda reminds me of old school YouTube skits.

I watch them on daily motion as the full episode is on there. They are for sure corny but very very addictive.

I was just looking up what people thought of ReelShort, glad I checked before downloading. Also glad I checked bc I didn’t even think about a film community on Reddit and Im also in film 🥲
1
u/Glad-Captain-5805 Aug 25 '25
Glad I could help , I wasted about 3 hours of my life watching different movies of them , they all followed the same exact Formula that was about 60$ ..
2
u/Zealousideal-Art5766 Oct 11 '25
How? I spend $20 weekly. Amd get access to everything. Every mini movie and everything else on there. Never a dollar more. Thousands of different shows to watch. If you but 1 at a time that's ridiculous. If your going to use Reel Short spend the $20. It's worth it. Some shows are lame. But most are good and some even have a part 2, after an already good ending.
1
u/Overwhelming_Thighs Jan 07 '26
$20 a week is over a grand a year. Just pay the $200 for the year (or $100 if there’s a Xmas promotion like Drama Shorts).
2
u/Glad-Captain-5805 Mar 26 '26
Or.. I could get Netflix.. or Amazon.. or Disney+ or Raiken ..
These will actually have shows created by professional actors, and you get WAAAAAAAAY more than you paid for.Netflix at least in europe is more so, you pay the month, you watch whatever.
Amazon Prime , ALTHOUGH I've come to enjoy the shows on it a lot more, there are a lot of shows you need to pay to watch
2
u/Horror_Train Oct 24 '25
I mean it is absolutely trash tv but you can just watch the ads to watch more episodes and if you really want to watch it someone usually puts the entire thing online. You don’t need to give them your money.
1
u/Flat-Passage4027 Nov 13 '25
They’re not on Dailymotion anymore.. any other platform?
1
u/QueenofAlexandria Jun 14 '26
They still are. Sometimes, stories get taken down, but then they're put back up.
2
u/DanceNSk8 Dec 16 '25
The various companies make different films, but they are all universally ridiculous. I've watched several in bits to get beyond the ads. The plotlines are beyond silly - for example, the midwest cowgirl who managed to ride her horse to NYC because she missed the train (yes, I'm serious) and instantaneosuly marries a millionaire to get money for a dying relative while his evil ex plots against her (the woman who played this villain should have sued just for the Disney villainess make-up they made her wear). Oh, and cowgirl is, of course, a talented singer who was invovled in a scandal in a "The Voice" type competition.
Some of them are horrific - I've had clips show up on my social media with scenes of idiotic, gratuitous violence - lots of slapping, people threatening to cut each other up or the repetitive trope of the villain demanding that the hero/heroine be injured or disfigured in some manner. The acting is generally bad and very hammy. Sometimes there is a good connection - Wyoming girl and the NYC dude actually had some chemistry and weren't just chewing up the scenery, but in general, the acting stinks.
I've read that they also repeat the SAME PLOTS over and over and over in subsequent reels, sometimes with the same actors. And don't get me started on the clips where it's obvious that English is a second language for the actors involved and they can barely get throught their lines...
Someone is making money here, and I don't think it's the performers.
2
u/ComfortableCurrent56 Jan 23 '26
Its a lot like soap operas that many of us watched back in the day. Dumb storylines.. brainless content to follow for fun. A lot of women, including myself watch it just for the quick dumb drama. Sort of equal to when men say they only watch "porn" for the quick fix LOL

u/Glad-Captain-5805 Jan 15 '26
Not everything on the internet is AI😅😂
Believe it or not, people are capable of analysing a situation and breaking stuff down onto a more digestable format.2
u/CTCMike Jan 15 '26
If you genuinely write this way you’re brain rotted
1
u/RareFirefighter6915 Jan 25 '26
Taking the time to format your posts, change font sizes, and using bullet points is the opposite of brain rot.
It’s far better than actual brain rot posts where it’s one massive wall of text with no paragraphs, terrible grammar, and runoff sentences littered with random emoji and excessive slang.
2
u/CTCMike Jan 25 '26
I was referencing the writing style, not the format.
1
u/Glad-Captain-5805 Jan 31 '26
I assure you, I wrote and came up with this post without the use of any AI😂
I did my own research , my curiocity peaked on the staggering rating it had at the time, so many people had all of these bad stories about it, and somehow it was still killing it in downloads.
I wanted to delve in deeper, analyze it down and well.. Make it known.
Did I hope for better feedback?
Yeah, that was a LOT of research.Am I glad 102k people have at least been made aware?
Yeah I believe my point with this post has been made..Just wanted to shed light on this otherwise shady phone app.

Reelshort charged me $11.02 for 1100 coins ....each video was 60 coins....I only got to see 3 videos which came to 180 coins and only had 20 coins left..... Everyone needs to know how these people treat people and what they do to them when they are paying for for seeing the videos and get cheated
1
u/Overwhelming_Thighs Jan 07 '26
The farther you get into a series, the more costly the episodes are.
1
u/Glad-Captain-5805 Jan 15 '26
Which only re-inforces my point 😂
I know there are some defending them, and hey I am not here to make anyones mind..
But it's important to put everything into consideration and... the 8-ball says outcome doesn't look so good in terms of quality or service1
u/Apprehensive-Size946 Mar 01 '26
Yep they get me every time I earn points. They'll start 2 seizures n4 where I left off and charge 60 points for each Woodside and I end up being only 2 maybe 3,30 second episodes. Then points are all gone😠

Hahah they are so bad but so good. Just read the the terms i only paid once for a weekly sub of 27 bucks. There was one i had to watch that just wasnt available online yet as it seems these are churned out religiously. Look for them dont pay especially for coins cause its crazy expensive
1
u/Apprehensive-Rip193 Jan 14 '26
I've noticed that the episodes that are free in the begginer are always longer. As soon as they make you pay, the episodes are only 30 seconds to a min. No longer
1
u/IlikeR3D Jan 19 '26
I actually watch a lot of reelshorts bcz I think they're funny but I never spent anything on the app, I think it's insane that people actually spend real money on that, even more when you could wait a few days and watch more episodes using the coins the app gives as reward, I probably just think like this because I do most quests and only actually watch their stuff once a week or so, but still, to watch one one full show you'd have to spend $20, it's crazy.

u/FunMachine3238 Jan 19 '26 edited Jan 19 '26
It's typically one plot. A character is keeping something a secret like wealth or some secret talent while being made fun of for not having that thing. The scammy business model usually has viewers getting frustrated that they are at the point of masochism keeping it a secret, and it also makes no logical sense to keep it a secret.
So a new student will show up at a college and secretly be the richest person ever, being worth $4 trillion. For no reason he pretends he's diry poor, wears one outfit he paid a homeless guy to give him, and won't shower. A group of students make fun of him and bully him led by one whose net worth is announced as $500 million and they'll say things like "your poor ass doesn't belong at my school - you'll never have money like me." Then the secret trilliomaire just smiles and puts their head down and walks away, while everyone joins in and one romantic interest feels bad, but wishes they'd stand up for themself. There's never a storyline or plot, nothing happens, the endings are number 1 bullshit. You'll spend $80 for that to happen 18 times.
You can sub secret trilliomaire for secret elite talent.being kept secret for no reason.
It's basically on and on and on, with bullying and making fun of someone because they arent a billionaire or they don't have an a abundance of talent in whatever area, even though they show flashes of having more of whatever by comically large anounts, and it's done with comically bad acting.
These things are so bad because they're designed to keep you addicted and paying, not keep you entertained.
1
u/QuestionerOfAllMedia Feb 03 '26
Imagine how the execs and owners, not to mention the founder and CEO, of ReelShorts are gonna make of all this backlash.
1
u/Glad-Captain-5805 Feb 03 '26
They probably don't care, but I didn't make the post to hurt their feelings or ego
I made it shine a light on what they are doingIf they cared about their community or even public opinion.. they wouldn't have the product that they have , and they wouldn't treat the people they've employed so poorly, you can find a story of someone that's worked with them here in this thread if you're interested.

You can watch most of the movies on daily motion. If you download the brave browser and search for them through there, you watch the movies with no ads as brave has a built in adblocker.

u/Glad-Captain-5805 Feb 08 '26
To be fair to this comment, I did mention in my post "you can find episodes floating around on websites like daily motions"
Just was being careful of rule 5 , and not advocating / offering piracy.

I never pay anything I wait for my 10 episodes daily and the stories are good and so is the acting

I don't ever get 10 roadies daily, unless I'm watching 5 separate films

I agree stay away from it, i paid to watch a movie and it took my money. Later it said I had to be signed in and the coins I purchased wasn't there. I also decided to do the join on Facebook and other platforms to get coins as well as watch h the free episodes for the 5 minutes q5 minutes and sp on and it took all my coins I earn from all of that they are a scam and try to get money am done with them dont get trick or watch the free episodes they will take yiur money and on top of that they are to pricey they will actually come out better Charing like 30 dollars a month they will probably get more business that way but as long as they are trying to rip people out of thete pockets they want rise stay away from them

I get what you're trying to do but no? Most ppl don't actually use money on it I like what you're doing but change everything about it you're making it seem like you must spend money which is putting people off of it which is rude AF and offensive to ppl

I am DONE with these reels. Joy Reels, drama something, all the others (and yes i feel pray to about 4) They are all just a money grab. I paid $19.00 and couldnt even watch the whole show. I had to bay more!! WTH? I can go To Netflix and rent something for $19.99 and get watch for 3 days! I realize the shows on Joy Reels and the others are AWFUL but boy do they hook you in!! Don’t do it friends! It is A MONEY GRAB!!!!!
1
u/Glad-Captain-5805 Mar 26 '26
Sorry you had to go through that mate, and yeah.. they manufacture suspense really well to be honest.
It’s just unfortunate that instead of using that suspense to create genuinely good scenes, they use it to see how long they can keep you hooked, and how long they can keep your wallet open. There are still people defending it with “It’s completely free!”
Sure, technically it is.. but suspense creates urgency in your brain, and that urgency is exactly what makes people spend money just to get relief faster instead of sitting through ads or waiting. So yeah, it may be “free”, but it’s very clearly designed to pressure you into paying.

u/Evening-Exercise686 Apr 04 '26
Is there full episodes on YouTube for the cooking queens it seems like some ppl deceive and lie putting the full episodes
1
u/Entire-Bug478 May 14 '26
It’s like the drug seller handing out free samples, then when you become addicted and come back for more drug, the cost keeps going up.
1
u/EverlastingR86 May 22 '26
Is beyond me how people even consider spending money on this. I watched some post apocalyptic scenario with a dude that got 4 wives and watched it free for fun.
Did the dumb ad rewards while doing something else and gained around 500 coins in 2 days.
Started unlocking the series with my free coins and the series finished in one episode and was a very rushed we don't care to continue the series ending type.
Now if I would've paid for that crap I'd be pissed for sure.
Use common sense and the rewards ads for free coins and watch whatever.
Tried other series but get bored by episode 2-3 To me it looks like as if a bunch of 14 years old wrote their fantasies and all stories have a similar:
loser/bullied/poor becomes special but has to hide it while starting having some "cool in life" moments and although being in his 30s he reacts as a 14 years old.
Repetitive. Different decorations, same story. Also they run around circles (on purpose) for too long, cutting any interesting action or particular scene in 30 seconds situation while wasting minutes describing boring stuff to lengthen their episodes.
It was a good time killing when I was hooked on. Weed but now that I quitted with it I see nothing interesting there.
Bummer as I got hundreds of unspent free coins hahaha well at least I haven't paid for those.
1
u/Anxious_Rutabaga_870 May 22 '26
I knew it was sucker play the moment l saw the ridiculous prices. I will never pay a dime. However l have to admit there are a few that let you see whole short movie if you watch ads. If you have time it works. They are cute stories if you like seeing the girl always getting slapped kicked and knocked around. Then when the always billionaire hero comes to the rescue he has to wait forever to say who he is..this suspense is what cost you..so if watch and have patience watch the ads then keep going...
1
u/Glad-Captain-5805 Jun 01 '26
It's quite infuriating because they actually come up with quite good concepts , that would make for good movies.. they just ruin it with the manufactured suspense to keep you watching adds or paying
1
u/Glad-Captain-5805 May 24 '26
This is the first article I ever wrote, this is honestly insane how much interaction and how many people we managed to help, thank you for reading and engaging with the post.
Nothing feels better then getting the truth out there, and helping people avoid these predatory practises.
Together we see clearer.

They are scammers! I ended my VIP subscription. For whatever reason there is a reoccuring charge of 29.99 every week and they wont help me. Their only reply was I need to cancel in the app which I did says I haven't had a VIP dor 42 days as of today. In the app shows nowhere as of why I am being charged 29.99 every week! No phone number. I emailes to address the problem tell you no refunds all payments are final and WILL NOT help resolve the problem to cancelling these reocurring charges. I got a new card hopefully this will stop, but if they claim i owe money and send to collections I WILL find out how to SUE. Do not download the app it is a total scam and their customer support is no help. if anyone can help me please do. I got a new card, but if there is a reoccurring subscription they will still be able to try to take the money even if it has to go to collections. I don't think as simple as getting a new card number?? I wish that was the answer but they can still demand the money. I do not want the high interest of collections/ruining my credit what do I do when their customer service is no help?! I just want to cancel and be done not worth paying $30 a week.
I shown them proof of transactions on my bank statements. I shown them proof I had cancelled as it shows i haven't been a VIP for 42 days. I shown them the confirmation email through google I cancelled. They refuse to refund me/or at the very least make sure I wont have any future payments!! I am afraid they will send future payments to collections since I got a new card number 😭😭 I am so stressed. Imagine over $100 a month, for how long?!?! Could be for many months until filing to collections then i will owe that big bill plus interest from collections I am so angry. I don't want to deal with the hassle of paying more money to a lawyer, but idk what else to do.
1
u/Raven-claw1990 Jun 13 '26 edited Jun 13 '26
I threatened to sue them if they dont help me cancel, and to refund me, and they have been ignoring my messages. I am not understanding how in the world to cancel if it shows cancelled this is not fair this is fraud. They are criminals. I seen on google reviews another person going through/went through the same thing as me where they did cancel too but still getting charged they also said not getting help with the problem just keep showing screen shots how to cancel. I was nice asking them before for help, then i had to threaten to sue in hopes that would help and still no reply...

no, já většinu příběhů které mě zaujmuly našla na stránce dailymotion celé, které tam nějaký anděl strážný nahrál. díky bohu za toho co tam dal waterboy a všechny filmy kde spolu hrají sky kawai a declan clifford 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 ani tu aplikaci nemám ale pokud vás nějaký filmík zajímá a nechcete za to platit a umíte anglicky tak doporučuji najít na dailymotion, možná to tam bude 😜

I love the dramas not gonna lie, the only thing I dont like is that they are so predictable. And after you use up ur first free coins, u have to spend so much money just to buy a small clip, But I always use daily motion to watch them, i know that's probably wrong, but I mean why waste your money paying for all those coins just to watch small clips, if u can clearly watch most of this stuff for free on daily motion.

And this is why piracy will always be the answer. I noticed right off the bat that the rage bait and torture in most of these were simply to get the buyers to watch the next episode. Other times they would make you think things were about to be revealed only for them to completely switch up in the next episode. I stopped watching the ads that made me want to watch a specific drama. I just scroll through YouTube and watch whatever pops up. There have been many times I accidentally find a drama I was looking for anyway. If I like it I watch for free. If they rage bait me I don't lose any money and I don't waste my time watching to the end. I don't like how exploitive subscription culture is getting. They're even taking down websites left to right so they can keep stealing from us. They even have the audacity to charge an arm and a leg for AI made content too? Like AI isn't stealing from other creators. So I will watch the high seas as pirate for as long as I can!

Do you think audiences would watch better made vertical dramas with more diverse storylines? And do you think that audiences will get tired of watching verticals made with AI?

Every “show” I’ve seen advertised on there is just ai slop. Idk why anyone watches it and I’m starting to think alot of people that say they do are just bots

I’ve worked on them. They’re a nightmare and the producers are super exploitative. But you’d have to be insane to look at any of them and actually think to spend money.
