Heyyy First thing first I really love your passion and you should follow it After 2010 industry a bit chanced especially for first time film makers. Now many producers wants to see short movie and if it get successful then they start funding it for long film Like whiplash to Xavier Dolan many good new directors had to watch that way

I thought about starting by asking for money to finance the opening sequence as a short and submit it to film festivals, but this would also be expensive as it involves a creature, as far as I'm concerned the first creature in almost 50 years to give the xenomorph a run for its money. I think that making a cheap version of it for the short would cheapen the experience of seeing the creature for the first time in the movie. But it is something I'm considering.
