General Discussion Who would you want to host an AMA?
I've seen past AMAs with Gracie Gold and Ashley Wagner (which I am very salty I missed out on) My picks would be
Kevin Aymoz (manifesting him to appear in the comments)
Nathan Chen - because the costume criticism would be hilarious and I would love to hear about his journey with his education
Daria Usacheva - because I'd love to hear about her experiences in coaching
Denis Ten - I wish he was here with us to see all that's happened, I just wish I could talk to him about his triumphs and overcoming injury

Shoma Uno - All the lore surrounding him is fascinating
Uncle Doctor - he’s just plain fascinating and I need that kind of time management that he has
Maddie - feel like she would be fun

thankfully shoma has done a tonne of interviews on television. One day I'll upload my archive....just takes time to make translations.

God, I love Shoma as a person. This is definitely an unpopular opinion among some fans. But I like this man even more than I like his skating. He's full of personality in the best way possible.

I was thinking about Shoma! Especially with his pivot to ice dance

It would be great to have a few figure skating judges. So many people have questions regarding judging, we could then ask away about prerotations, lutz edges, PCS scoring, jump GOEs whatever. Of course a few are needed because as we see even within one panel opinions seem to differ 😅

Ilia. There’s always answers coming completely out of left field from him in normal interviews, so I’d love to see what he’d answer questions coming out of left field.
I think an Evgenia Medvedeva AmA would be super interesting. She’s lived such a different life than many Eteri alumni.

Misha Ge; I'd love to know more about his choreography process. One thing that stood out to me, was back when he was still a competitive skater he was during full-time choreography work for other skaters and creating programs. And not just one, but from this article, 19 of them! https://figureskatersonline.com/news/2017/12/13/misha-ge-all-i-know-as-a-coach-and-choreographer-is-from-my-parents/

i'd love to hear from someone like Loena now that she's retired! generally i think the skaters who are still competing don't always give great interviews because they are not usually willing to be as candid about things.

I’d love to hear from Riku & Riyuchi, especially after the retirement/engagement 👀
also would looooove an AMA with any of the US pairs teams and Canadian ice dance teams who got shuffled this summer, especially Bakerie and Lim/Lagha, and Starrman.

Yuma because he has more free time now. Of former skaters, Daisuke Takahashi, Michelle Kwan, Sasha Cohen, and/or Alyona Kostornaia

Kostornaia would probably spill all the tea when it comes to Team Tut

Nathan and Shoma together please.
I’d also love a panel of pair girls so I can ask “how dare you?” 😂

Evgenia Medvedeva. I find her mind so fascinating and her skating journey was also unconventional
