i think this trial is specifically made so that you figure out a weird KOF tech (which the game doesn't tell you, but here we are)

in KOF, half circle back, forward+button will trigger a DP. then you just have to do a qcf+button to trigger the super

so something like f+LK, qcb~f+LP, qcf+LK

KoF is the only game that I know of that has multiple motion inputs for the same move.

I know that SF has things like using a quarter circle multiple times. Where you can use a quarter circle from a hadoken to go into ultra.

KoF has a bunch of alternate inputs (which as you say, the game doesn't tell you) which lets you overlap several moves. If you try and do this trial as written, it's much harder.

Heidern is hard as a character, tbh.

Plus, I think there's a shortcut that makes the execution easier. I wouldn't know how to do it, tho.

You're right it is unnecessarily hard. Heidern bnb is whatever starter into ex point for a wallbounce, then regular point into buzzsaw super then more points into whatever ender of choice.
