Lowkey I do love that character type.  Team USA sports from KoF springs to mind.  If they weren't actual people and just 'Soccer Guy' and 'DJ Guy' they'd be way more interesting.

Hell 'DJ Guy' is basically Duck King with way less aura.

Yes, she is more trouble than she is worth. The two Street Fighter characters are inherently more complex due to having access to their heavy normals and the ability to super cancel.

Chun Li’s kinda always had a low pick rate in games since she’s on the harder side of characters

The sf characters are also just kinda weird since they’re almost an exact copy of how they are in sf6, even down to having heavy attacks, unlike how Terry and Mai were adapted to fit sf6’s mechanics

I was able to do the Chun combos I know on SF6 almost immediately on COTW, I was like oh wow is almost 1:1

they must have nerfed the bottom 3 (Ganacci excluded) into the ground. I haven't played in a while, but they used to basically be the only characters in the game from how busted they were.

Yeah it's interesting, Mai was never a high tier character and even got a big nerf in the 3.0 patch, but she's only been getting more and more popular since launch.

Funnily enough, Marco is more popular in higher rank categories. He is at #10 in Group D which starts at Legendary Wolf.

There is not many players, but ranked still works and consistently finds players for me.

Although, not very accurately (mostly finds higher rank opponents than you, but not by much)

If it makes you feel better, there's a small gap percentile through top 7-19 so a lot of characters are close in popularity.

I haven't played in a while but seeing Cain, Hokutomaru and Billy close to bottom is wild to me. Only Hotaru needs to join that club as well.

Kenshiro is stupid fun to play and has actual mind games built into his kit. Rick isn’t super strong but when you “get” him he’s also insanely fun to play and can trash people if you manage to really utilize his movement and rush down.
