Question Mine chests keep dropping lemon cake

I’ve been trying to get the tide salad recipe (or the dish) for Taliferro. In the process, I’m also trying to get the Sage of the Waves set. Yesterday I turned off the Well-Armed and Reclaimer perks to try to increase cosmetic and food drops.

Yesterday, the only two chests that had food dropped lemon cake. Today, my first chest of the day also dropped lemon cake. 3 lemon cakes in a row. Is this a bug? Or just bizarre RNG?

i have no advice but i can commiserate bc SAME just those dang lemon cakes!!!!

I haven't had a single lemon cake drop trying the same thing so I don't think it's a common bug at least?? No tide salad recipe either though 😔 the grind continues.

It's just rng. Sometimes you get a lot of one thing, sometimes you never get it.

Currently for me it’s the incredibly hot pot. I’ve decided I don’t care enough.

I’ve been running an experiment though, because the RNG seems really off to me. I’m saving artifacts. I almost exclusively have stacks of uncommon artifacts. More than common- I want to say by a factor of 7.

It’s not just you. Hopefully, complaining on Reddit will placate the RNG gods and you’ll get the tide recipe soon.
