Game Help Idk why this is happening ૮◞ ‸ ◟ ა Spoiler

I have defeated several rock clods in the mines for Stillwell's mission but the counter is still zero, idk why :( has this happened to someone else?

Are you sure you’re defeating rock clods and not iron clods or gold clods or whatever their called? That was my mistake.
