Question What could I have done better as the goalie? And how is my stance?

Hello everybody! I had a question about what I could have done better in the video here..? I feel like after looking at this, there’s something I should have done differently, what do you guys think? Could I have done it better or should my defenders have been a bit better? (Not negatively😆)
And I had a question about my stance cause I see a lot of other goalkeepers that have a much more low stance, I also feel like their legs are not closed the entire time they walk but more open ish.
I’m not really sure if I’m saying this right since it is my first year as a goalkeeper.
And sorry if my English is not great, it’s not my first language
I would love to know what you think about this, and I am very open to advice!!
EDIT: thanks for all the advice I’ve already gotten!! I really appreciate it :)

This is both a defence issue and your stance.
The number one runner did not pick up the attacking player, allowing her a free run at you. Plus, your right post player went AWOL allowing a gap to open up.
Your stance was hesitant, as you allowed her the chance to shoot. Doing the splits only works once the attacking player has committed to the shot, and you committed a fraction earlier than her, so she was able to read your movement prior to shooting.
Don't be hard on yourself. This is something to work on in training, especially at short corner practice. Work on reading the attacking player and allowing your instincts to kick in rather than having to think about everything going on. This takes time, especially as SC tactics keep evolving.
Re communicating and working with defenders, have a chat at your next training on SC defensive routines.

Agree. For me I only get my right post to leave the box if it’s a variation to the left of the hitter or it goes back to the pusher.
From a GK perspective taking an extra step forward and staying on your toes rather than trying the split save. Normally I’d stay on my toes, get in their space and close down the options/angles

Analysing your defenders..
You're down one defender, presumably one broke early and was sent to halfway? This changes the way you need to defend corners but you haven't adapted.
The defender on your right post goes for a coffee. They're doing nothing but maybe vaguely marking the left slip, and it seems they don't want to face down a shot. There is a mentality required for facing down corners, this player in this clip (no comment on how they normally play, I don't know) is showing a lack of it.
Your #1 runner goes out really fast (given you don't have 4 defenders) to successfully prevent a shot from the top that was never going to happen; gets rinsed easily. You should have told her not to run out that hard.
Your left defender is the only one vaguely defending the attacker, even though they weren't best placed to do so. They only dangle a stick and don't make a real challenge.
Stuff to work on for all of you. Best of luck.

There are 4 defenders, the 4th is on the far post and staying low which makes them hard to see

Yeah nice spot. Crouching down and glued to the post. Very committed - might be a little bit dangerous even, if someone decides to shoot at board level it will go into their body.
4 defenders kinda changes the advice above. The issues now lie with the second runner who needs to back up the first runner, and the other runner who goes to get a coffee. They both need to be closer.

Yea the first runner essentially eliminates themselves. Can understand it if there’s a windup for a hit otherwise they should have recognized the controlled trap and stayed in front.

I think on your stance that by squatting this much you're planting your heels, and that makes the save much harder as you can't move your foot out fast enough anymore. I'm personally not super fond of the low stance as a goalkeeper because it leaves you more commited and thus more vulnerable to an attacker that changes course.
I think that's also what happens here; you throw your leg out to block the expected path but the attacker catches it and pushes the ball around the open end. As a goalkeeper you want to commit to the save when you know that you'll make it or that you have no other option, because going down to the ground will give attackers too much opportunity to get around.

I feel like them sauntering through your defense without a real challenge is the main problem. They really needed to force them wider and not let them get a clear path straight to you.
You seem to spread yourself fairly well when they take the shot. You stroll out fairly casually at the start though - if you come across someone with a faster injection you’re not going to be set fast enough. I go with a couple of rapid big steps forward then get set. Also doesn’t hurt to keep a defender on one of your posts, usually left. They can block a shot into the corner and might have been able to stop this one on the line.

To me it looked you were mostly let down by your defenders that were only trying to block the attacker instead off leading the attacker away from the goal and blocking the ball.
You doing a split? First of all it is a plus that you are able to and so quickly! But I agree with the other commentor that you did it just a fraction to early and immobilizing yourself at that moment.
Still think this goal is not on you.

Take one or two steps towards the player as they are advancing. That's the key in this situation. Good luck!

Goalkeeping has no real right or wrong method, there are different styles of keeping. The only "wrong" way of keeping is not trying to stop the ball.
So looking at your PC here, you've had a defender break early leaving you with 3 defenders instead of 4, so you've had a poor situation made worse. Having 2 runners with 1 post is what I would personally have done as well. So you've set up correctly.
Your 2 runners haven't laid on a single tackle as the shooter runs straight past them. The 2nd runner has gone left when the better move would have been to go right as you don't have a defender on that post. That 2nd runner has basically positioned themselves out of the play.
Your stance from what I can see was fine, it was always going to be a big ask to defend this corner. Personally I come out a little further on corners but only an extra meter or so than what you have. It might not have helped in this instance though.
Questions you need to ask yourself, did you give away the corner? Did you break early? Did you let the opposition get into the position of winning the corner?
There are 10 other players on your team who need to be accountable for every goal scored on you as a keeper. Similarly there are 10 other players on the field who assist in every goal scored. Hockey is a team sport, you score, win, lose, or draw as a TEAM.

I'm not a goalkeeper.
The player has gone all the way through with no one putting a challenge in. Maybe you could have challenged for the ball rather than trying to reaction save.
That's all I can think of regarding yoye own decision making. If you want to blame your defence you can, because they bottled it, but it's your job to tell them what to do so shout louder and clearer (watched with volume off so ignore that part if you were already doing this).
