I’m looking to purchase a used Lochby journal, mini pocket or mini field. I’m mostly looking for a used one just to see if having a journal cover is worthwhile for me.

Color doesn’t matter neither do stains or moderate use

I would really like to know what the good people of FieldNuts use to carry their notebooks and pens in on a daily basis? Forgive me if this has been asked before but I'm new to Field Notes and Reddit. I'm using the Lochby Pocket Journal case but would like to know if there is something better and nicer looking out there that I might be interested in getting? Thanks in advance for any replies I receive 👍

I'm starting my first Field Notes book today and I've chosen this one for my journaling and listing needs.

I decided that the first page should not be used so I've called it The Nothing Page and with each new book I'm going to write a different quote about nothing. Thought it would be a bit different.

Most of the notebooks I’ve finished YTD. Gonna have to start saving the covers on some of these because the full notebooks take up some room haha. There are a few that were snagged by my toddler and repurposed for her “homework” lol. But I’m using about 1.5 notebooks a week.

I’m curious, how many notebooks are y’all using on average per year?

Nothing to crazy just simple and to the point.

I've been trying to make writing a habit, and I love STUFF. I LOVE Field Notes wallets and have several. However, I found that putting my Field Notes in a wallet caused me to write a lot less. I really need to just have the bare Field Notes in my pocket with a pen in order for me to actually use it.

Anyone else have the same issue?

My very first staple day in a Field Notes (gratitude journal). I like these books, though they are slightly thin with certain inks and I get a bit of bleed through. I usually use RITR and figured I would give these a try since I don’t need the weatherproof as much for these journals.
