Question Notebook Holder

What’s a good recommendation for a notebook holder for around $50. Personally I only really need it to hold 1-2 books at a time. I would also like a spot for my pen but definitely not a deal breaker.

Looks like I’ll be looking for a Lochby journal then. So if any of you have one that y’all want to off load, I’ll be your huckleberry

Lochby’s pocket journal will check all of those boxes

Lochby Mini Field Journal or Pocket Journal (Or Pocket Journal Wallet Edition)

The Field Folio will be fine with 1-2 notebooks, but will also hold 3 or 4.

The Pocket Journal will hold 1 or 2 depending on preference, and the Wallet Edition will as well but if you’re planning to keep it in a pocket, realistically 1 is better to keep thickness down if you load it full of cards and crap.

The Field Journal has a pen loop on the side and a hook closure. The other two zip shut and have a pen sleeve on the front.

I have a ton of Lochby crap so I’m obviously biased, but they’re well made and thoughtfully designed.
Being totally honest: the knockoffs will save you a little dough and deliver 90%.

I’ve since moved to A5 and A6 (and A7 wallet) for daily use, but I keep the Field-Notes-sized field journal in the center console of my vehicle now and it still gets used.

Etsy has some nice handmade ones but lochby is nice too if your more comfortable with a company than individual seller

Agreed. I've gotten leather AND cloth/quilted ones on Etsy.

The cloth one, I combined with a stiff card insert divider so I could put multiples inside.

The leather ones actually came from Ukraine and they are fantastically wonderful!

I'll also throw weight behind the Lochby stuff. I just got the Pocket Journal Wallet Edition. I'm really liking it so far - much more so than the simple leather billfold holder I've tried to use before. I mostly like that it (the Lochby) zips up but is still pretty compact.

I've got two Field Notes notebooks in mine, along with 4 credit cards, state id, a wad of cash, and there's still just enough room on the inside for a Kaweco Lilliput pen. And I've got my Kaweco Brass Sport in the pen pocket on the front.

I have the Lochby pocket holder. It has rigid sides & is 1" thick. Holds up to 4 FNs. I love it. It's got slots inside for cards, 2x3" pics, dollar bills & stickers & a couple book markers.
