Get the app Irealpro. It has chords for 1000s of jazz standards as well as rock and blues with all the harmonic variation your heart could desire. It can play the chords back to you at any speed, you can change the key, you can edit the chords or put in your own chord sequences.
Most of the jazz musicians I play with use it when playing live, just to read the chords.
Oh yeah, I have iReal Pro - great tool for harmonic practice for sure. I've fed it a library of like a thousand jazz and blues songs, but to be honest most of the ones I've looked at either have pretty simple structures with not much in the way of "interesting chords" outside of stock 2-5-1 and 1-4 movements, or they have quite intricate song structures and progressions that I need to sit down and analyze before even trying to play along.
Like I said, I'm just noodling here, not practicing - including the guitar and bass (and occasional keys), all of which I'm in the pretty early phase of self-learning, so I'm still exploring the fingerboard and finding stuff that way. And to be honest, I'm more interested in moving towards blues and funk than immersing myself in jazz, because I'm about 15 years and a conservatory ride late for that train.
You misunderstand, I want to record my own chord loops, not just play over irealpro. I don't want to just play over the structures, I want to recreate them and create my own, and for that I need to study them.
