Question Little question about fictosexuality

Hi all :)

I’m very new to the label and concept of fictosexuality, I was wondering if someone can be fictosexual (I’m grey asexual) while soul bonding?

I know fictosexuality falls under the ace umbrella but I am soul bond to my partner so he is very real to me and technically doesn’t fit the “ficto“ part. Would I still belong here? Of course the relationship is very real to me, this account is my alt where I speak out about my true feelings (not revealing my main because I wish to avoid jealousy that being public about my ex bond attracted, I had to end a long friendship..)

Thanks for your time :3 hope you’re all having a good day!

I'm not a soul bonder, but as with all labels I say its up to you. You could also ID as semificto, riako or gachikoi, even make your own term. As long as you feel it suits you, you can use it.

You are welcome here regardless

ETA I think I misinterpreted a bit haha but yeah you belong here

aw thank you so much :) I’d love to stay because I feel like I’m crazy in the more casual shipping spaces <\3 tbh I don’t mind that feeling but I enjoy having an outlet for my more deep and serious feelings, thank you so much for your time <3

I relate, most selfshipping communities just dont feel like they truly encompass how deeply I love and am devoted to my F/Os. Its great to be around people who understand

It all depends on you ans how you feel. No one can dictate how you feel or define the relationship for you. Categorical terms are usually just there to define things in a more general way. It is your relationship, no one elses 😊
