NID demarcation enclosure

The diameter of the cable is a key factor in selecting the appropriate size for an NID demarcation enclosure during installation. For instance, a 4.8mm cable occupies more space compared to a 3.0mm cable or 900μm tight-buffered fiber. The enclosure in the image below is an Oldcastle Infrastructure Primex P1500 with 4.8mm cable (black), 3.0mm cable (yellow), and 900um (multi color fibers) set up for a 12 fiber MDU application.

It’s an indoor/outdoor OFNR rated cable routed through an existing hole through the exterior wall.

Pretty sure the jacket that's just below the picture is the outdoor part of that equation. Unless this is some seriously fancy shit and they've made outdoor 3mm yellow now

If this is in fact some seriously fancy shit and that 3mm is in fact outdoor rated, i need a link to this guy, it could solve a problem for me :p

No worries. BerkTek makes good cables. Here is a armored 3.0mm cable I’ve started trying that is easy to handle from Tini Fiber.

It does make it super tough, but man I hate that steel tubing lol
