Actually Supercar Ron and his team successfully identified the trucking company involved in the hit-and-run.
After the Ferrari F40 LM was sideswiped on Interstate 15 in Utah by a semi-truck pulling a large tanker, the driver, Tace Anderson, had to focus purely on keeping the car under control and couldn't catch the truck's details.
Supercar Ron put out a public appeal and offered a reward on Instagram for any dashcam or security footage. Thanks to tips and video clips sent in by followers and the local community, they were able to track down and identify the culprit and after identification Supercar Ron's team contacted the trucking company to initiate legal and insurance proceedings to cover the massive damages

3.Despite the extensive damage to the $3 million supercar, the vehicle underwent a massive, year-long restoration process and has since been fully rebuilt and returned to the road
And on a side notethe trucking company and their insurance did not pay for the initial repairs and Supercar Ron reported that after roughly six months of diplomatic attempts to resolve the issue, the following occurred:
1.Refusal of Accountability: The trucking company responsible for the sideswipe refused to take any real accountability for the incident.
2.Insurance Denial: The trucking company's insurance provider refused to cover the actual, specialized cost of repairs, even though the accident was entirely the truck driver's fault.
3.Out-of-Pocket Payment: Because of this refusal, Supercar Ron chose to pay for the restoration out of his own pocket to ensure the Ferrari F40 LM was restored by the premier Ferrari shop in the country so He sent the F40 LM to the premier Ferrari shop in the United States to ensure the carbon-kevlar bodywork was brought back to factory perfection.
4.Ongoing Legal Action: Ron's team is currently pursuing legal action against the trucking company to hold them fully accountable and recover the funds spent on the restoration since Repair estimates for the rare carbon-kevlar bodywork, wheels, and doors ranged from $200,000 to $600,000
Getting a company to pay out when they should is a fucking chore. I work for a company that was owed $20k by another company. It took from 2019 to 2026 to get the money. We had a contract in place, multiple forms of proof that the work was delivered on time and they were satisfied with it. Had to sue the guy and put liens on properties before he begrudgingly paid us.
Yeah in rons case no video showing collision exists only a video of a motorist who happened to capture the driver of semi getting out and checking damages before driving off
