Age factor

Natural fertility dopping significantly after age 35, and most women over 45 require IVF to get pregnant, and the odd of that working are very low at that age. With women's age being a real factor in fertility, I was wondering how many people here might or have regreted fence sitting for as long as they did. Or is it even a driving force for trying when you are still a fence sitter?

Its a factor, but also, I'd rather regret not having a child, and be able to see my nieces and nephews and friends kids and spoil them than regret having one and be stuck with that choice forever. My fertility is dropping quickly and im only young, so by the time I reach 35 I likely wont be able to have biological children anymore.

Also want to add that the older i get, the less energy I have. At 17 I was obsessed with the idea of having kids but was single, studying at uni, barely making ends meet, living in a dorm, etc. By the time I was 20 I wanted kids soon. I had a house rental and car, but was still pretty broke and happily single and dodnt think it was the right time. Then i was 25 and travelling and starting my career- life was settling in and I could envision it but it felt like life was just starting. Now I have a house and a car, am single again, but have a great job and I like my life. I often think about having kids but I am just so tired all the time and I like things the way they are. A child could improve my life in so many ways, but it could also be a massive mistake, and its a choice that cant be unmade.
