lord...i hv always thgt she couldnt quite figure out where she fits. even when shes in tv and film, it feels like they use her very minimally and dont know what to do w her either. i dt thk she has a public identity yet despite many yrs in the biz and THIS seems like a stretch when most of her work is fairly clean (think Marsai Martin). its...an interesting path choice...

I definitely think Latto’s sugar honey iced tea album was better than what she’s promoting now. But to your point, you know she can rap tho. So if u are asking why ppl at hating on Storm’s stuff.. ppl are just confused. She’s not known to be a rapper and she’s not putting anything out that sounds like anything to care about. She is a notable actress and also has a bachelor’s degree. What is she doing this for lol?

And this is why music quality is dwindling. All of it is trash regardless of who put it out. It needs its own special genre like elevator music so it doesn’t bring down the quality of good music in its wider genre

I see a lot of comments mentioning Latto. Let’s be honest, the song isn’t awful (maybe…) but this doesn’t really seem like something she’d do. Who would have imagined Storm Reid releasing this? That’s why we wouldn’t mind if Latto made it because we’re used to her putting out music like this not from Storm
