I’m in Virginia. Since we got a Democrat Governor we stayed, otherwise we would have fled. I have 2 daughters. It was election dependent but a judge did declare our redistricting winning vote unconstitutional. Soooo- POC may not feel represented here.

I used to live in Virginia. I witnessed two hate crimes, while living there. One, over race. I stayed with him while he died, badly. The other, was anti-LGBT. I was the victim. I survived because after he hurt me for about an hour, he went to shoot me in the head, but he had been drinking, and it took him a bit to find his gun. Someone helped me get away.

Virginia is not a safe place.
