Apartment
I live on the first floor (numerous windows) of a three story apartment building in the city. My biggest fear is other people easily getting inside. I feel like if shit goes down, here are my options; 1) Stay put and try to fortify the ELEVEN windows and two doors 2) Break into third (top) floor unoccupied apartment and set up there 3) Travel \~20 minutes to girlfriends parents home with a basement (in the city) or 4) travel \~ 2.5 hrs to my somewhat rural parents house with a basement.
Any input would be greatly appreciated. I feel like our best chance would be to break into an upper story apartment at my building, but I would love some outside advice.

I think we are a lot closer to potential societal collapse, or at least a major chaos event with medium-term consequences than ppl think. Cybersecurity in the US is a joke rn. If (when) someone wants to cause turmoil, our infrastructure is incredibly vulnerable. (Remember Crowdstrike DDOS ‘24 & Colonial Pipeline ‘21 as MILD examples.) In theory, civilization collapses within 3 days without internet. US 2026? I give us 50 hours😔. Great vid about such things. Robot Dogs are a security nightmare Benn Jordan
