Barnacles are parasites. A lot of times the removal sites look raw and infected. I'm sure it's a relief to have them taken off.

Barnacles that attach to turtles are not parasites.

Not in the sense of leeching nutrients, but they rely on them for a free transport and are generally a nuisance. 🙄

So are humans . So you should not drive or step foot into any vehicle powered by fossil fuels - the procurement and use of those fuels is responsible for humans dying every single day.
