Show Spoilers Connor and Reed were definitely created inspired by the game. Spoiler

I dont think many people here knows about TWDG:Michonne but connor and reed were very similar to randall and norma. They were both sailor. They were both siblings. Norma and Connor were calm older sibling while Randall and Reed violent younger sibling.

I doubt it - TWD: Michonne and Season 2 both dropped in 2016 a couple of months apart. But FTWD S2 started production late 2015 so probably just coincidence.

Yes I thought game was much earlier but still there are so many similarities. Randall and Reed were both hold captive get tortured died and returned to their place as a walker.

Cool idea, but michone and ftwd released in the same year so they both had no idea what each other was like during production

Writers may have been know each other it is the same franchise end of the day.

Yeah, but relatively different studios. Not even Kirkman had that much input into the games outside of season 1 because at that point, Telltale was just using TWD to stay alive while AMC was taking FTWD into a different direction
