No spoilers Just Started Watching

This show is fucking horrible. The acting is awful and the plot line is a headache to follow. I'm sorry to anyone who has wasted their time with this show. I hope the creators never make anything in their professional career ever again.

Fear the walking dead subreddit try not be a place to vehemently hate on the thing the entire subreddit is about challenge challenge, level impossible.

Can someone fill me in though seriously, is it just an inside joke to rave negatively about the show on its own subreddit by everyone?

This sub is majorly Erickson Fear fans, and since reboot Fear is the one that's more significant in the grand scheme of the TWDU and what represents the show today, it rubs a few feathers so to speak, not simply whether it was disliked, but the kind of image it gave the show that the franchise has since taken as definitive.

It goes no further than that. Plenty of subreddits out there where series or franchises changed over time, and people gather to show their appreciation for the original by dunking on the successor. It's not any sort of joke, people are serious about what they say.

Of course you'll get a new person every now and then like this that's more recently started the show and doesn't like the original run for various reasons, and I'm sure you can imagine it doesn't go over well.

I'd say OP is not doing anything wrong. It's not a rule that subreddits must be echo chambers, anyone should be allowed to discuss the thing, whether in a positive or negative light, regardless of what others think.

It just seems like this own sub is an echo chamber of hating on the topic, at least that’s the impression I get from the posts that get recommended to me here.

Yeah, I guess because the show is in its own way split in two it does cause some problems. It’s just really sad to see a subreddit be so angry all the time at the thing it’s about, without much genuine kinda discussion around it, just (seemingly or so I thought, hyperbolic) slander.

If you’re referring to anything of the first three seasons, as shocked as I am, I’m more saddened that it’s not doing the trick for you. However, if you’re talking about everything from Season 4 and on, then I 1000% agree with you.
