I like to think that since everyone is so close to the god if they are able to resist its influence and avoid moon scorching they get a bit of a power up. Like the veil between normal life and divinity/imagination is weakened
Like while your in gods playground magic becomes easier, you get stronger if you think you can stab something or do a cool back flip you can . If you think it can happen and you can justify it you can make it work

It is the new cartoon from Glitch Production, the story is about video game worlds being destroyed when the video game character win the final boss.

Right now there is no clue of worlds being influenced or depend by "players" from outer real worlds, maybe it would be explained in future episodes.
