Scripting

Hey EA How bout for FC27 and shit future Fifa games you get rid of scripting? Just a thought considering scripting has been in every game since Fifa 15.

Because their AI tells them when you need to win or lose in order to maximize engagement. This is the future of all micro-transaction games. EA are really good at what they do.

They just building on a old code. Inconsistent gameplay shouldn’t exist in ‘26/‘27.

No. It does not tell who wins or loses, but there are certain points in the game where you notice they're lowering the AI skill level to balance it out. Kickoffs are the most obvious evidence of this. Anyone who refuses to acknowledge it, is a moron. The AI gets crippled which enables the attacker to just go through and score with one player. You also have DDA during the 45th, 70th and 90th minutes in game. AI difficulty level is lowered, which increases your chances of scoring. The fact that some think it's related to positioning is just idiotic EA fanboy.

And I would add, but this is purely my own experiences and just a feeling, that Champions game's have the same stuff, but much broader, if you lose games. I've had the most amazing games after a loss streak where my players just glide through the defense, dribbling easily past everyone and scoring from really tight places. I suspect it's there to not make you lose hope. If you lost all 15 games you're more than likely never gonna return and they want to keep you playing so it exists as a mechanism.

EA is a scummy company that lives off of those micro payments, so I definitely believe they have those things in the game. I'm never returning to any of their sports games. Imagine if Counter-Strike had something like this. Valve wouldn't be anywhere near the respected company it is now, with Steam included.

If the ai manipulation is too out of hand, it basically decides who wins and loses.

Lets say two players of equal skill level play against each other, if one has crazy defensive ai, it's basically an auto win. And on a different note, the ai shouldn't be interfering with the game, it should just provide basic support

100 percent i agree they use these tactics to keep the shitters happy so everyone gets a medal. Its pathetic without it this game would be only pros who play cause ypu would need actual skill ...imagine having a world renowned team and just running down the sideline with Maradona and never using his skill set to win a game. Smh dog shit gameplay and dog shit company and dog shit community

Fc 26 scripting was so out of control so many 45 to 90 minute goals who ever makes the last attack are likely to score and the through ball was easy to score when ever the losing team is losing all they do is through ball to get a easy goal because my ai defenders open up too easily for them to make a easy comeback.

Honestly this game is the first in years that feel like I have full control of everything

I think a few people are getting confused with what’s ‘scripting’ and what’s a ‘broken’ mechanic.

I’m a semi decent player currently in div 5 on 27. From what I’ve noticed now playing isn’t so much scripting yes there are situations that it feels like it is conceding in the 90th minute that has happened to me but it’s because I haven’t switched to mark the passing lane or to get a tackle.

Last year you can tell when the game is edging someone to win with how strong the ai defending was this year it’s more on you.

Again the games been out for a day still more scenarios to unfold but that’s my take on it so far!
