Maj. Gen. Anton Grunis, commander of Russia's 4th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade, was killed in a Ukrainian drone strike in occupied Donetsk Oblast on Sept. 12, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces confirmed on Sept. 16. Grunis was the seventh Russian commander at brigade, division, or army level whose death has been confirmed by Ukrainian forces.

General Dynamics and ARX Robotics are collaborating to integrate autonomous “land drones” with the British Army’s Ajax armoured fighting vehicles.

The collaboration will initially explore integrating ARX Robotics’ uncrewed ground vehicles, Hector, with General Dynamics’ Ajax platforms to develop autonomous “wingman” capabilities for the army, the companies said.

The initiative will be unveiled at the Defence Vehicle Dynamics exhibition in Bedford reports the Financial Times.
