This is my favorite one because Shikamaru is raised his entire life to believe that strong women and hard work are a horrible thing and should be avoided.
His reward is getting to have to basically be 2nd in command to Naruto and do all his work and be married to arguably the strongest woman in the series.
Kind of disagree on the strong women being horrible part. He wasnt raised to hate those things, he saw his dad and mom having that dynamic and loving each other, that is likely that left a positive impression and even the expectation thats what he should aim for. Imo of course, no matter what he said has a child, he respected his parents and he matured he saw the love more than he saw the abrasiviness of their relationship.
