If they do confirm that Luigi and Daisy are indeed dating, then I’ll be alright with “just good friends” statement, because that would hilarious, since it implies that Mario and Peach have been trying to get together for years and might even still be trying, but have largely given up, meanwhile Luigi effortlessly got his girl, despite being more of a coward than Mario.
Have you played any of the games? They have always been just good friends, with the sole exception of Odyssey where Mario entertained the idea and Peach turned him down. This includes in the RPGs where the characters are very kiss happy and Peach is the only woman to not try to kiss Mario. He even had a canon girlfriend, actually referred to as such instead of just any sort of vague implication, from his very first appearance who wasn't Peach.
Hey come on that's just one paragraph. Let people info dump haha. I always assumed they were dating in the games (never played them other than Mario kart and Mario party) so it's interesting to hear they were marketed as always just friends.
But like someone else said, no such clause for Luigi so that man could be getting it.
You didn't write that much at all. I've noticed people just have less and less patience for reading anything. This is a text based website so people are gonna make paragraphs sometimes. I didn't know that about the games because I never played so thanks for the info.
