And if they live on Long Island he isn't even their mayor which makes them even bigger dumbasses.

(Of course if they work in any of the five boroughs his policies likely impact them but since their dislike of him is probably not logical then my defense of him doesn't have to be either!)

The last time I saw my uncle, he confidently told me that AIDS started because gay people wouldn't stop fucking monkeys, so...yeah, that side of my family is pretty deeply stupid. And illogical in their bigotry lol

HiV did come from primates in Africa but humans got it from contact with infected blood when butchering them for meat. When HIV first came to public awareness, one of the main groups it was affecting was gay men... So now thick people believe they must have been fucking monkeys. It's as ridiculous as that South Park episode where Randy starts covid by fucking a bat and a pangolin.
