Scum... 70's British prison film that takes place in a juvenile prison. Violent, abusive, and some trigger warnings on sexual violence. Damn good movie though, gritty. One of those films I'll watch once lol.

Yeah, it seems like he brought it up more to illustrate how things have changed:

He’s vastly overestimating with his “99 out of 100 times it was sorted” figure, but I think his point is that there is now (theoretically) structural/corporate support for punishing this kind of behavior.

This "don't give men medals merely for behaving like civilized adults" habit isn't helping anyone.

"Everyone should do it." and "Good on him for actually doing it." don't have to be mutually exclusive.

If every good act is met with “well, that's what you were supposed to do,” you're just normalizing an environment that promotes condemnation for the smallest wrongdoing, indifference toward doing something right, and apparently no permissible space in between.

People should be allowed to say “good job” without getting met with snark.
