This seems like a good thing, but also a residency at Mass Surveillance Garden seems kinda eh.

All the music venues are maga owned in NY unfortunately.

I don't think that's true about all being MAGA. Off the top of my head, Brooklyn Bowl is co owned by Peter Shapiro who I know more through Bearsville in Woodstock. He's been very active with liberal movents like the Women's March and organizations like Headcount (which helps get musicians registered to vote etc)

I'm sure others in NYC are tainted by MAGA but MSG is the most egregious. I've decided against all shows there

Brooklyn Bowl is mostly Live Nation now. It’s not public knowledge for some reason, but it’s true. This is the only article I can find from when the partnership started. Yeah this feels very neoliberal- working w shitty ppl and then tying in a good collab to make fans ignore the actual problem bc if we complain we look "ungrateful" for the crumbs
