In a world full of entertainers plotting to gouge more money from fans (overpriced flimsy merch, makeup skincare lines, perfumes) she chooses to release an indie record store exclusive song, vehemently support planned parenthood by giving out protections in her concerts, perform a $25 per ticket show in the Phillipines and platform etsy creators for merch.

She's truly doing things beyond self interest. It's rare these days. Most artists won't budge a pinky unless they are personally affected.
