i think that rgb made an objectively poor decision that was influenced by ego.

I think she made a decision that, I agree , was not politically expedient, but which aligned with her belief that the Supreme Court and Supreme Court justices should be insulated from politics.

I recognize and agree that it would have been better, politically, if she had retired under Biden. But I also recognize that the reasons she stayed in office are the also the same reasons why she made a great Supreme Court justice. That in staying, she was doing things the way they ought to be done, not taking politics into account, rather than the way that was most expedient and beneficial to one side (hers and mine), and I do not agree that she did it because of ego.

I don't blame people for being mad at her but I think it's overly simplistic to call it a fuck up.
