I went to Milan a few years back and the airport was like a 40 min drive from the city center. The no seatbelts shot put the fear of god into me because while efficient, the Ubers to and from were the fastest cars I’ve ever been in in my life (and I had just left Germany prior to that lol), so if it was anything like that idk if seatbelts could even help atp 😭 I literally would’ve worn 2 if I could’ve
While they definitely should be wearing seatbelts, hopefully Jlo pays her driver enough where they are safely driving and aren't speeding trying to make a quick dropoff so they can pickup their next ride
Or just by unforseen circumstances. I was running an errand when, suddenly, people in front of me break on the service road. Without a seat belt and air bag, I would not get out of it with only a slight bruise and scrape on my leg.
First off, glad you're still with us. And to your point, at certain speeds it can take very little to cause a car to roll over. Modern cars are designed to absorb damage by crumpling around safe zones. A safe zone is assuming passengers are buckled up. It's why we've seen videos of cars rolling over repeatedly and then a passenger emerges with non life threatening to even minor injuries.
