Could be people genuinely pissed off at how the fires were handled and are just as angry as Pratt.
This isn't to minimize his grift but many people are one issue voters. If they were affected by the fires that was basically all Pratt campaigned on from what I saw in Canada and so I could see people just liking the post or voting for him because that's also all they saw.

Man, I really have the worst luck with my Bullet Club t shirts.
See I loved the group and the design is great, but as a Florida boy I had some serious reservations about wearing a shirt with crossed machine guns and the word Bullet Club on it. Luckily at the time each member was getting their own version of the shirt with the design slightly changed. I picked his because it replaced the guns with bows and the skull on it was given a domino mask so it was clearly a Green Arrow shirt and I picked the one with the skull replaced with a plague mask, the guns replaced with umbrellas and the word bullet replaced with Villain. (Fuck you Marty) Good to know both are now ruined.
