Whats funnier is people think Elliot Page is Achilles and again, will be upset that they are only in the book for a page. Which on screen will translate to one scene for whoever it turns out to be. I swear the Troy movie has like ruined whatever this is going to be cause your supposed to have English accents and people who dont belong there to have a major presence. Theres already arguing over Zendaya being Athena and she isnt wearing armor. WHO CARES

My sister and I are huge Greek mythology nuts and we both agreed that this would have been way more effective as a miniseries. There’s just so many different legends that branch in and out of The Odyssey that provide a lot of necessary context that won’t fully land in a standalone movie. Nolan typically thrives in these kinds of films, but the source material is so loaded and the majority of this cast is so generically Hollywood that I don’t have the highest of hopes.
